There are many places associated with mythology that fascinate visitors.
Miketsukuni/Awaji Island
Awaji Island, also known as "Miketsu Kuni" (Land of Food).
The bounty of nature and bountiful food has remained unchanged since the Manyo period. Awaji Island is a treasure trove of food that has been presented to the Imperial Court and continues to do so to this day.
At GRAND CHARIOT Hokuto-shichisei 135°, you can enjoy dishes made with ingredients from Awaji Island under the supervision of Chef Haruyuki Yamashita, Hyogo Prefecture's Food Advisor.
Meals are supervised by Haruyuki Yamashita, who has 13 restaurants in Japan and overseas, including Tokyo Midtown. He has had extensive contact and exchanges of ideas with people involved in agriculture, fishing, and livestock on Awaji Island, and in keeping with why Awaji Island is called "Miketsu Kuni" (Land of Food), he has prepared specially made meals for guests that can only be enjoyed here.
The starry sky that can be viewed from a skylight that is over 5m high is like a natural planetarium. In the morning, the dazzling morning sun shines in and you are enveloped in the island's natural beauty.
