[Starry Sky Master Newsletter vol.17] April Lyrid meteor shower

From Friday, April 2022nd to Saturday, April 4rd, 22,April Lyrid meteor showeris now at its best.

The peak viewing time this year isThis year's peak will be around 4 a.m. on April 23rd.It is predicted that this will be nighttime during the period when the radiant point can be seen, and you may be able to see shooting stars.

The April Lyrid meteor shower rises in the eastern sky where the summer constellation Lyra is visible. The radiant point is just to the right of the 4st magnitude star Vega, one of the three stars in the Summer Triangle: Vega, Altair, and Deneb.
However, since meteors can appear anywhere in the night sky, centered around the radiant point, it will be easier to see them if you look in a place where there is as little moonlight as possible.

Turn off all the lights in the room and enjoy the view of the starry night sky and the sky-filled sky from the skylights on the ceiling and the observation deck at the top of the Grand Chariot.April Lyrid meteor showerPlease enjoy ".
